Legal and Financial Issues | Top |
The Legal and Financial Program is an optional program which is available for a nominal additional charge.
Purpose: To provide employees and family members with legal referrals to top rated attorneys and financial professionals in their area.
Use: After one of our EAP professionals conducts a comprehensive assessment, to determine if there are other issues in addition to legal and financial, the counselor will refer the employee or family member to this service. The client will be provided with the name, address and telephone number of an attorney or financial professional located nearest to the employee or family member.
Each client is entitled to one free thirty-minute consultation for up to three separate legal matters per year. If the client decides to retain the attorney after the consultation, the attorney will reduce the normal hourly rate by 25%.
Legal matters may include:

- Real Estate
- Estates and Wills
- Criminal
There are also contracted package rates that are between 25-50% off the normal rate for legal services such as estate planning, financial planning and consumer credit counseling.
Tax Preparation Service
As an EAP member with this program, employees can also have their tax returns prepared by phone by a licensed CPA for a lower rate than most commercial services charge. Costs vary according to the complexity of the return.
If a client has a financial issue, such as the need to declare bankruptcy or for financial planning, he or she may speak with a CPA for up to thirty minutes, free of charge.
Matters involving disputes or actions between employees and employers, the employee assistance program, or the legal and financial plan or its sponsors, agents or their officers, directors or employees are specifically excluded from eligibility of this plan.

This is a very comprehensive program for employees and their family members designed to improve the balance between work and family issues. This program offers a wealth of information, resources and referrals for a variety of work life issues including:
Childcare
Resources and referrals for many different types of day care, childcare for children with special needs, adoption services, and lactation, CPR and child safety classes are also available.
Elder/Adult Care
Referrals are provided to independent living, nursing care, assisted living and Alzheimer's care facilities as well as locators for other senior living options and solutions. Resources for home care, Medicare and Medicaid assistance, retirement, estate planning and concerns regarding death and dying.

Articles and resources for a variety of issues involving the family are available on-line.
Work
Employees spend a large portion of their daily lives at work and at times, may need help managing work-related issues. This program helps save employees' time and frustration and increases productivity and motivation by providing information to employees.
Health and Wellness
There are thousands of pages of information on the web site to help employees maintain or improve their physical and mental condition and subsequently increase their productivity at work.
There are three options available:
Option A:
Web-based program accessed through our web page. This is a very low-cost add-on to our basic EAP services
Option B:
This is a telephonic program accessed 24/7 through an 800 number. Clients speak directly with a work life specialist to receive a comprehensive assessment and referrals to resources anywhere in the U.S.
Option C:
Enhanced Eldercare
Available as an block of either 6 or 2 hour blocks of time to be used for a menu of services available including detailed in-home assessment and consultation, check-in service, and in-home safety inspection.
This is an excellent option for employees who live far away from their elderly parents.
This program includes access to the web-based work life program and is very affordable.

Concierge Services | Top |
This program can be available for only a few or all employees of a company and is often provided as an award for performance or a perk for upper level executives.
Services include:
Referrals for babysitting, caterers, general contractors, maid services, pet services and florists
Reservations for car rentals, tee times, restaurants, hotels, and spas.
Event tickets to local and national events with no additional up-charge
